John Williams, age 91, died in his home on October 1, 2025. He was a graduate of Manual High School. John met and married his wife of 69 years Carol Hein. He worked for 30 years with the Denver Fire Department before retiring. John also volunteered at the Denver Fire Department Museum for years.
John is survived by his wife Carol, his four children, John Jr., Cindy, Dan, and Sherrie, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Mary and his brother Victor, many nephews, cousins and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will take place at the Denver Fire Department Federal Credit Union, Gathering Building, 12 Lakeside Lane, Denver CO 80212, Friday November 7, 2025, at 11a.m. A luncheon will be served after the service. Those wishing to honor his life may make a donation in his name to: Denver Fire Department Museum, 1326 Tremont Place, Denver CO 80204, 303-892-1436.
