Charles (Dustin) Monroe Wilson Jr, 44, entered the gates of heaven on Feb 3, 2022. Preceded in death by father Charles (Ace) Monroe Wilson Sr, grandparents Mary Jo (Baker) Coram whom Dustin cherished, Thomas G Baker Sr., Charlie & Ruth (Wilson) Thompson, stepfather Jake Kitts, and his aunt Patsy Baker Hagaman (Doug). Survived by his beloved mother Sharon (Baker) Wilson Kitts, with whom he shared an unconditional and unbreakable bond, partner and best friend Donna Howard whom he adored, uncle Tom (Toddy) Baker, aunt Beverly Baker Willard (Lee), aunt Tammy Baker Kimball (Mark) and most faithful companion "Oasis", whom he raised from a puppy. Half-sisters Mandy, Alisha and Jennifer. Many cousins whom Dustin loved.
Dustin was passionate about reading and journaling, studied many topics and was well versed in different religions. He was a Christian whose faith showed in his daily life, never hesitating to pray with anyone. He lived by grace, not perfection, offering forgiveness and always accepting responsibility for his own actions. He was kind and humble, often feeling the pain others felt as he was intuitive. He prayed for peace of mind and heart for himself and others. Dustin pursued many hobbies in life including weight lifting, working out, boxing, wrestling, skateboarding, fishing and his newest hobby was going to the gun range. He loved all animals. He was a Big Rig Truck driver and when driving, loved the freedom of the open road and was known as the "AlphaDog Warrior" and "Hillbilly Duck".
His wit could bring a smile and laugh when it was most needed and his million dollar smile showed in his sparkling blue eyes. Dustin's Dad passed when he was just a baby but he forever carried him in his heart. He loved his mother and grandmother very much and often brought much joy to their lives. Dustin will be missed by all. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 pm Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Rose Funeral & Cremation-Broadway. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Zac Povec officiating. A full obituary may be viewed at www.rosefuneraltn.com
