It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Leroy Wiseman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Charles, a resident of Rockford, MI, passed away on March 22, 2025, surrounded by those he loved and who loved him dearly.
Born on December 23, 1957, in Grant, Michigan, Charles lived a life filled with adventure, love, and dedication. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Tracey Wiseman, of nearly 47 years, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. His legacy continues through his loving children, Charles John (CJ) Wiseman and his wife Sara, and Matthew Wiseman. He was the proud grandfather of Nevaeh and James Wiseman, who brought endless joy to his life. In addition to his immediate family, Charles is survived by his sister, Jewell Wiseman, and his lifelong best friend, Jim Preston. His presence will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, who cherished his guidance and infectious laughter. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Merrill Wiseman and Sandra Grace Wiseman, and his sister, Becky Brady.
Charles dedicated his professional life as a steel truck driver. Outside of work, he found solace and happiness in the great outdoors. He was an avid bow hunter and fisherman who cherished the tranquility of nature. His greatest passion was spending quality time with his family and friends, creating memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Charles's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been made by Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel.
