"Chuck"
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest husband/father, Charles Yurkus. He died peacefully at his home in West Bend, Wisconsin at age 84 on August 4, 2023. He was born on November 6, 1938 in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Yurkus, his sisters MaryAnn and Phyllis. He is survived by many family members and friends who he cherished deeply.
Charles worked in the manufacturing industry in several factories over the years, a member of the United States Army, was an avid golfer, sudoku and puzzle mastermind, and talented with his woodworking skills.
Over the past 42 years, he was a devoted husband to his wife Judith and father to his children, Sarah Beane (Dan Beane) and Christopher Yurkus. Dog dad to his favorite, Pupcake and granddogs Hank and Chester. His heart was in constant joy for his grandchildren, Lilly, Sadie, Sydney, and Wyatt. Many hours were spent listening to music, watching soccer games and archery lessons. His love for his family was endless.
There will be a time of gathering on Saturday, August 26, from 11:00 AM, until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 3774 E. Underwood Ave., Cudahy.
In lieu flowers, memorials to Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, appreciated.

I couldn't have asked for a better Uncle. Uncle Chuck is the type of person that made the world a better place just by being himself. He is and always will be missed by me. I will always be thankful for the time I had with him. Rest in peace Uncle Chuck.
