Charlie T. Merry, Jr. , 74

Charlie T. Merry, Jr. died August 25, 2025. He was born March 28, 1951 in Daytona Beach, Florida. A resident of Okeechobee since 1985, he was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Merry was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Merry; mother, Dora West; and father, Charlie Merry.

He is survived by his daughters, Evadean Lydecker, Angel Merry, and Jessie Merry; grandchildren, Brittney Dailey, Brooke Dailey, Beckie Dailey, and Brandie Dailey; twelve great grandchildren, Brayden Dailey, Laine Mills, Jacob Hickman, Brooklynn Hickman, DJ Taggart, Drako Carter, Bella Carter; brother, James Merry; sisters, Sharon Varnador and Debbie Baker; and many loving family members.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home.
