Charlotte Vance Burwell left this world to be with our Lord and Savior, Friday September 27, 2024.
Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at White’s Funeral Home in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 P.M. at The Funeral Home.
She was born April 13, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas to Juanita Hughes Vance and Malcolm Wood “Bid” Vance. After graduation from Tremble Tech High School in Fort Worth, she married the love of her life, George “Danny” Burwell in 1963. Together they have 2 sons, Stoney and Tyson Burwell. In 1969 they chose to move the family to Perrin, Texas where Charlotte became a member of the Church of Christ.
Charlotte enjoyed working for Texas Instruments and Optron for many years. She also worked beside her husband and 2 boys in their family business, Burwell and Sons. But Charlottes heart always belonged in taking care of her family. Her greatest enjoyment was watching her grandkids grow up and being around her friends and family.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her loving husband, George; both parents; and her 2 brothers, John and Malcom Vance.
She leaves behind her sons, Stoney and wife, Deanna of Perrin and Tyson Burwell of Fort Worth; the light of her eyes her grandkids, Dusty and wife, Stephanie of Chicago; Tyson and wife, Kelley of Jacksboro; her only granddaughter, Leslie Burwell of Mineral Wells and Colby and his wife, Marilyn who are stationed in Germany; she leaves behind 4 great-grandkids, Owen and Isaac of Chicago, Reagan Inez of Mineral Wells and Fallya Ellie of Jacksboro
