Charlotte Robinson was born on August 30, 1941 in Camden, NJto the late Mary & Arthur Robinson. Charlotte attended Camden High School. Once she completed high school she starting working at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital where she worked for many years. While at a party she met Robert Edmonds in 1964. Robert was from Philly, and while courting Charlotte who lived in New Jersey he would walk back and forth across the Ben Franklin Bridge to see her.
On June 6, 1964 Robert and Charlotte Edmonds were married and from this union came Theresa and Robert Edmonds Jr. She continued to work at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital until she decided to get a job in Philadelphia at Pennsylvania Hospital where she retired. In her spare time she would enjoy time at the casino. Charlotte will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was predeceased by her mother, Lillian Mary Robinson, her father Arthur Robinson, her brother Arthur "Sonny" Robinson, her sisters Doris Tatem, Ruth Redd, and Darlene Robinson.
She leaves to mourn, daughter Theresa Ann Edmonds, son Robert Edmonds Jr, son in-law Derrick Edmonds, daughter in-law Bridget Dula– Edmonds, sisters Helen Robinson and Christine Hickman, brothers William Robinson and Gene Robinson, grandsons Derrick Edmonds Jr and tony Dula, grand-daughters Talena, Charnah, and Ashley, great granddaughters, Sana, Shay and China, sister-in-law Sandra Edmonds and Elaine Edmonds, brother in-law Roger Edmonds, proceeded in death by sister-in-law Phyllis Hinnant, brothers in law Theodore Edmonds and William Edmonds and a host of nieces, nephews cousins, grands and friends
