Charlotte Ann Hicks

Charlotte Ann Hicks, 86, of Grover, NC, went to meet her Lord and Savior on July 14, 2025 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. Born September 25, 1938 in York County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lizzie Carroll Williams and was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Thomas J. Hicks, her sisters Frances Taush, Ruby Hudson, Jane Deskins, and Opal Brakefield, and her brothers Carl Williams, Cecil Williams, Gordon Williams, and Robert Williams. Charlotte retired after serving the community for many years as the Executive of Housekeeping at Kings Mountain Hospital. She was a longtime member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Grover, where she was very active as a choir member. She was a devoted wife and nurturing mother, always willing to help anyone, and known for making delicious sweet tea.
