A legend in the Portland neighborhood. One of the "Queens of Portland". She devoted her life to her kids, grandkids and her Portland community. She was a loving caring person who would help anyone.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John "Jack" Wright; son, John A."Jackie" Wright ; daughter, Sharon Wright.
She is survived by her children Janet Wright andTerry Wright; grandchildren, John "Jay" Wright, Shannon Wright Erhart (Chris), Rock Wright (Danielle), and Lance Wright; 12 great-grandchildren.
A special thanks to Kathleen Dailey and Denise Wright.
Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Shawnee Baptist Church 2214 Bank Street with burial in Portland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday, February 24, 2022 at J.B. Ratterman & Sons Funerals & Family Cremation Care 2114 W. Market Street and 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. Friday at Shawnee Baptist Church.

One of the greatest women I have ever known. She took care of me as a child. I would randomly stop by to see her in my teens. She remembered all of her kids. Nanny Charlotte you will be missed.
