Samuel Carpenter, Jr. was born on December 29th, 1978 and departed this life on June 20th, 2025. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Cynthia Priddle and Samuel Carpenter, Sr. Samuel Carpenter,Jr better known as " Sammy" to many faced a number of challenges throughout his life; in doing so, he found and accepted Christ. Sammy happily attended Wayside Christian Mission in Louisville, Kentucky where he thrived and started leading groups while helping others to focus on the right path. A true diamond in the rough. Sammy was a strong believer in helping others to understand they were loved and appreciated, and that it was okay to make mistakes; this helped him to find his purpose, by supporting others. He also found joy in simple pleasures, like bowling, music, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Of all the roles Sammy was most proud of being a father and grandfather. Sammy's love for his family and close friends reached no limits. His love, patience, kindness and generosity was unconditional. Sammy had a heart of gold, he shared his beautiful attributes and bright smile freely, His contagious laugh brought light to any room, he entered. He touched countless hearts with his authenticity and unwavering love. The memorial service for Samuel Carpenter, Jr. will be held on July, 10th. 2025 visitation starting at 2:00 P.M until 4:00 P.M with service starting at 3:30 P.M. Location J.B Ratterman & Sons Funerals & Family Cremation Care ( Chapel)
