Chase M. Higgins

Chase Michael Higgins, 27, of Machesney Park, received his heavenly wings on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Born March 4, 1997, in Rockford, IL, to Robert Higgins and Katherine Glasier. Chase was a graduate of Auburn High School and earned his associate's degree from Lakeland College. From a young age, Chase was gifted with multiple artistic abilities. He was lyrically talented and took pride in producing and engineering his own music, as a singer songwriter. He utilized his passion to own and operate Infinite Ink, where he was able to bring his artwork to life. Chase recently took interest in the fast car community and spent weekends showcasing his SRT at local meets. Chase's personality was warm and welcoming. He had an infectious laugh and unrelenting passion for life, with a spirit and a smile that could light up a room. Chase embraced his many challenges throughout life with grace. He was a loyal friend that always went the extra mile for the people he loved.
He is survived by his fiancé, Chandra; son, Ayden "Lil Squirt"; bonus daughter, Rihanna (girlfriend of Ayden); parents, Robert (Connie Brooks) Higgins and Katherine Glasier; brothers, Skyler and Hunter; niece, Eliza and numerous family members and friends. We take great comfort in knowing that Chase was welcomed into heaven by his two angel babies; special grandma (Bama), Sharon Yarbrough; brother, Shawn Lucas and best friend, Julian "Juice" Young.
Chase filled our hearts with immeasurable love and his memory will resonate forever. His love, laughter, and light will never fade. In honor of Chase, private family services will be held.
