Cherie Ann Cogswell Shultis, 63 of Kingston, NY died Sunday April 20, 2025 at Vassar Hospital after her battle with cancer.
She was born in Kingston, NY on November 27,1961 the daughter of the late John (Jack) Cogswell Sr and Bernice (Banks) Cogswell.
Cherie worked as a home health Aide and was so proud to receiving her CDL. She enjoyed crocheting, watching game shows and soap operas. She loved Alaskan King Crab legs, lobster bisque from Cousin's Main Lobster and Subs and sandwiches from Steve's Deli. But her greatest love was for her daughter and grand and great grandchildren. They were her life and bought her so much joy.
Cherie is survived by her only child Christina Marie Shultis (Billy Dutcher), her 4 grandchildren Dakota (Allison Ramos) & Mackenzie Lockwood and Tyler & Hunter Dutcher. Her 5 great grandchildren: Dakota Jr(Nugget), Paisley(Pay), Jayden, Mason, Lavaia and her Godson Nicholas Davis. She was loved by her large extended family and friends.
Cherie was loved for her wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Per Cherie's request there will be no services, just a simple cremation. To help her daughter, in lieu of flowers, Donations in her name to Leahy's Funeral Home can be made to help with her final expenses.
