Cheryl Anderson, of Hills Beach in Biddeford, Maine passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at home.
She was born in Sanford, Maine on December 5, 1991, a daughter of Norma Jean Pettegrow and George Edward Anderson of Hills Beach, Biddeford, Maine. She attended Cheverus High School, Class of 2010, and graduated from Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. with her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Enviornmental Science.
Cheryl was employed as a civil engineer and most recently worked as a Project Manager for the construction of the CRISPR facility in Boston.
Cheryl was a talented musician and had many interests. She enjoyed playing the violin, guitar, piano, was a gifted singer, and spent many evenings cooking for her family. Cheryl had a brilliant mind, a strong will, and a wonderful sense of humor that lit up every room she walked into.
Cheryl was close to her family and had a special affection for her dog, Meatball. Her family meant the world to her, and she meant everything to them. She loved flying with her dad in his plane and she especially loved traveling with her family to Disney World where they made a lifetime of memories they will cherish forever. She will be incredibly missed.
She is survived by her mother Norma, her father George, and her husband Joseph Poupard, her four sisters, Jennifer Anderson and husband Blake, Meredith Nutter and husband Cameron, Heather Anderson and fiancé Nick, and Kate Otis and husband Steve. She is also survived by seven young nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be from 11AM-1PM Friday, August 25, 2023, with a Funeral Outside of Mass at 1PM at Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford.
