Cheryl Bosh Obituary
Cheryl Anne (Glassford) Bosh, born March 17, 1947, died January 8, 2024 after a short battle with pneumonia. She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while recovering at home with what appears to have been a heart-related condition.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Eileen Glassford, her brother Robert Glassford, and a son, Ryan Christopher Bosh, who died at age 7 months.
Cheryl is the beloved wife of Stephen Timothy Bosh and the mother of three surviving children, whom she loved and dearly cherished: Shad Alan Bosh, Megan Danielle (Bosh) Cawley and Kyle Aaron Bosh. She is grandmother to Silas Marcum Bosh, Sadzi MJ Bosh, Anna Elizabeth Cawley, Owen Michael Cawley, and Kylie Ann Bosh. Cheryl was also a beloved sister to her brother, Fred Glassford and to her sister, Holly Jane (Glassford) Gold.
Cheryl was a devoted homemaker, crafter, and quilter. She has done ceramics, embroidery, needlepoint, sewing, crochet, and knitting. Her favorite activity was quilting. Cheryl belonged to Prayers and Squares, a group of quilters who made prayer quilts for people going through difficult experiences (most often health issues). The quilts would be prayed over as the knots were tied. Many people have been blessed by these warm and wonderful lap quilts.
What made her happiest was spending time with Steve, she loved to laugh and do all manner of things together. She was incredibly proud of her marriage with Steve and felt he cared for her beyond imagining. She liked the sounds of music, especially songs sung by Steve.
She loved Jesus and her church in every way. Church and her church family were always a special place in her life. Cooking and making a great meal for her family to share brought joy to her heart. She enjoyed seeing nature and all of God's creation.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She treasured their love and devotion to their mom. She believed the relationships she had with her family were greater than any material possession. She was always very quick to brag about her kids and grand kids in the best way. She is greatly missed by all who loved her and had the privilege of having her in their lives.
