Cheryl A. Lapinski

Cheryl A. Lapinski, 67, passed away July 9, 2025. She was the wife of Edmund J. Lapinski. Born in Erie, PA on December 5, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Mildred Conner and Dorthy Conner. Cheryl was raised by her grandparents, the late Roy and Mary Martin.
Cheryl was an active member in her church community. She loved animals, particularly birds. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Jennifer (Martin) Wertz, husband David Wertz and Ashley (Martin) Einsig and companion Chris Jowers; grandchildren, Cameron Mitchell, Kayla Eshelman, Austin Wertz, Steven Wertz, Pierce Einsig and August Einsig; great grandchildren, Braylen Simons, Bennett Eshelman and Samuel Wertz; siblings, Maxine Wills, Deborah Hoff, Matthew Garris, Melody Littlefield; son in law, Paul Einsig; brother in law Richard Lapinski and companion, Denise Brandow; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Martin Conner, James Conner, Clarence Conner, Mark Garris, Barbera Conner and baby boy Conner.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. The visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. The service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Ricky McCarl officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Cheryl's memory.
