Cheryl Lynn Orsak

Our beloved Cheryl Orsak, was called home, June 18, 2025.
Cheryl was born on February 21, 1957 in El Campo, Tx, to Eugene and Sally Orsak. She spent her early years in Victoria, Tx, attending Victoria High School, then settling in Austin, Tx. She spent her time working in the auto industry as a parts rep, switching to a career in education working as a substitute teacher for AISD, where she worked till retirement. She loved music, baking, family gatherings, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Cheryl Lynn Orsak was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eugene Orsak; her Mother-in-law Tommie Ramirez; her brother, Timothy Orsak; and her brother-in-law, Randy Sala.
She is survived by her loving husband, Rudy Ramirez; mother, Sally Orsak; children, Benjamin Roger Orsak (Kristi Vela), and Gregory Clyde-Blue Orsak-Ramirez (Lori Touchet); grandchildren, Evalinda Vela-Orsak, Fiona Vela-Orsak, and Henry Touchet-Ramirez; siblings, Michael Orsak (Gloria), Cynthia "Cindy" Sala, Kevin Orsak (Beth), Christopher Orsak (Tracy) and Jeffery Orsak; as well as numerous loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, 607 E. Anderson Ln., Austin, Texas, 78752. The committal will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery, 11134 FM 957, Schulenburg, TX 78956, on Tuesday, June 24.
