Cheryl "Sherry" Ann Watters, 69, of Crescent Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 28th, surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle following a massive heart attack.

Sherry was a proud graduate of La Salette Academy and enjoyed over 20 years playing in local softball leagues. She retired from Zeiss/Sola Optical after 23 years of dedicated service and continued working part-time in retirement at the Fort Mitchell Kroger liquor store, where she brought joy to customers and coworkers alike.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Jean and Richard Watters Sr., and her brothers, Vincent and Richard Watters.

Sherry is survived by her beloved wife, Cheri Wagner-Watters; her cherished stepdaughter, April Wagner, who lovingly called her M.A.D.; her sisters, Sue Von Hoene (Rick) and Sandy Dannenfelser (Dick); and her nieces and nephews, Paul, Stephanie, Kelly, David, and Katie. She was a treasured friend and family member to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 21st, from 2:00–6:00 PM at 2533 Enid Ave, Crescent Springs, KY 41017.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested in Sherry's name to the Fibromyalgia Foundation at FMAware.com

Yesterday

My deepest sympathies to Cheri and the entire family who loved Sherry.
I was an old friend from the early days of her young life. We had some good times together and she always made me laugh. I was in shock to hear of her passing, it doesn't surprise me she put up a good fight to live.
That was the girl I knew tough with a good head on her shoulders. May
she RIP in the hands of the lord now. Till we meet again one day.
