Cheryl Kay Wireman

Cheryl Kay Wireman, age 58, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 8:15 pm on Sunday December 1, 2024, at her residence. Born on April 23, 1966, in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Theodore John and Kay E. (Hopping) Jones.

Cheryl attended Columbia City Joint High School and graduated with the Class of 1984. She also attended Kaiser University for Human Psychology.

Cheryl worked as a Home Health Aide for over 20 years in the local area.

Cheryl enjoyed gardening, walking her dogs, and had a special love for all animals. Cheryl’s best time was spent with her grandchildren, doing anything and everything possible.

Survivors include her children Justin Wireman of Columbia City and Heather Wireman of Albion; grandchildren Marek and Mayla Freed and Willow Wireman; siblings Shawn Jones and Marsha Jones, both of Columbia City; companion Rob Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Randall Jones, and sister Tonya Jones.

Funeral services for Cheryl will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday December 9, 2024, at DeMoney Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior to service.

Burial in Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City.

Memorial contributions in memory of Cheryl may be made to Heather Wireman for her grandchildren’s education fund.
