Cheryl J. Worrell, 78 a lifelong resident of Lenni, PA died on May 16, 2025 at her home. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Rose Shank Opdenaker.
Cheryl was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls, class of 1964 and had been employed as an agent at Sabena Airlines and United Airlines. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church. Cheryl's hobbies included ceramics, playing Scrabble and watching The Price is Right. She always enjoyed trips to the Jersey Shore, especially to Stone Harbor and visiting the casinos. Most important was time spent with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late George L. Worrell, mother of Melissa R. Tinley (Craig), Courtney L. Nicholson, Joseph G. Worrell, Ethan H. Worrell (Dawn) and the late Heather E. Martin, grandmother of Jordan, Cody, Joseph, Caroline, Caleb, Alexis, Campbell, Aidyn, Renay, Marjorie, Georgia, and Kaitlyn. She is also survived by her beloved dog Lily.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at St. Francis de Sales R.C. Church, 35 New Road, Aston, PA where relatives and friends may call 9:15 to 10:45 AM. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
