Cheryll Ebie, 74, of Akron, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on January 29, 2025. A lifelong resident of Akron, Cheryll was born on April 26, 1950 to the late Harold and Janet {Choban} Porter.
In addition to her parents, Cheryll was preceded in death by her brother-in-law John Tomello and sister-in-law Debbie Porter.
Cheryll is survived by her loving daughter Riccilyn Wilson; son Harold "Bill" Ault; granddaughter Abigail Wilson; grandsons Matthew (Sarah) and Joshua Wilson; great-grandchildren Connor, Dawson and Scout Wilson and Caroline Wilson-Reese; brother Richard (Kathy) Porter; twin sister Charlene (Fred) Moorehead; sisters Melia Tomello and Denise (Butch) MacAleese.
Cheryll loved crafting, especially quilting, candle-making and diamond painting. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lit up her world.
Per Cheryll's wishes, and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryll's memory are suggested to her family, to help defray funeral costs. To share a memory of Cheryll or leave a special message for her family, visit the guest book below.
