Precious daughter, beloved sister, and adoring aunt, Chloe Leigh Price, 23, of West Mansfield, passed away early Saturday morning, September 6, 2025, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A beautiful and kind soul, Chloe was born December 12, 2001, to Johnathan E. and Crista L. (Cyphert) Price in Columbus. During her high school years, she excelled at playing softball for both her school team, and her travel team, the "Knockouts", playing left field and catcher. She handled adversity with strong resilience during COVID, and graduated from North Union in 2020.
Chloe had a shy and quiet personality, and her love for animals was evident in her everyday life. All animals flocked to her peaceful and calming nature, be it the goats and chickens at home, her beloved basset hound, Buster Bean, or the dogs at Four Paws Resort, where she loved to work. She was pursing her dream degree at Columbus State Community College to become a Vet Tech, adding to her amazing love for wildlife. With her family, she found peace on the water at Indian Lake, and often went boating there during the warmer months, insisting on driving the boat.
To say Chloe had the largest heart of anyone would be an understatement. She would do anything to help those in need, and her loving and soft presence was a balm to those around her. Her sweet, contagious smile was a testament to her thoughtful selflessness, and her light shined the happiest for her family. She gave her love effortlessly to them every day, and was beyond excited to embrace her new role as "aunt." She was without a doubt, their brightest star, and her fierce love and loyalty to them will burn bright in their hearts forever. There are no words to convey the depth of how much they miss her.
She is survived by her devoted parents, John and Crista; her beloved siblings Drake (Maddie) Price, Russell Price, and Sommer Fry; her cousin Milo Price, who was like a brother to her; paternal grandma Sharon Price; maternal grandma Olga Cyphert; aunts Utasha (Jamie) Miller and Kim Cyphert; and a host of extended family members, dearest friends, much adored animals and of course, Buster Bean.
Chloe's family will greet friends from 4-8 pm on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Marysville Grace Brethren Church, 17240 Amrine-Wood Rd, Marysville, where funeral services to celebrate Chloe's beautiful life will be held 11 am Tuesday, September 16, 2025, with Pastor Gene Miller officiating.
