Chris Dean Barrickman, 66, a resident of Adolph Road, Mill Creek, passed from this life Saturday, September 13, 2025, at his home. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
Chris was born Monday, September 22, 1958, in Elkins, a son of Beatrice Currence Barrickman and the late Utah Barrickman. On January 14, 1980, he was married to the former Pamela "Pam" McCauley who survives. They had celebrated forty-five years of marriage.
Also surviving are three children, Eric Barrickman of Belington, Shane Barrickman and wife, Selina of Adolph, and Sarah Barrickman of Belington, one brother, Tom Barrickman and wife, Debbie, of Adolph, one sister, Sondra Channell and husband, John, Huttonsville, seven grandchildren, Gracie, Ryan, Rylee, Chase, and Aubrey Barrickman, Kenzley Arbogast, and Amari Biggs, one great grandson, Kohen Cassell, an uncle, Kendall Barrickman of Elizabethon, TN, and two aunts, Pat Chewning and Mavis Conrad both of Mill Creek, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Chris in death besides his father was one grandchild, Elijah Cole Barrickman.
Chris was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School and had worked as an electrician for Carter Roag Coal Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering in his garage. He also had his own racecar that he enjoyed working on. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Brick Church Cemetery on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 12 pm. Rev. Randy Long will officiate, and interment will follow.
