Chris J. Delaware

DELAWARE, Chris J., age 30, of Fairfax, Va., died on April 28, 2010 due to a sudden illness. Loving husband of Meredith V. Delaware; son of John and Kathryn Delaware; brother of Nicholas Delaware, Hillary Halili and Alex Halili; grandson of Dorothy Ward; son-in-law of Pamela and Leo Viens; brother-in-law of Lisha Viens; and cherished uncle of Olivia Gerber, Noah Halili, Isabelle Gerber, Mara Halili and Carly Halili. Chris is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching lacrosse and basketball in the area and serving his country. Relatives and friends are invited to Chris' life celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, Va., on Sunday, May 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolftrap Rd., Vienna, Va., on Monday, May 3, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park.
