We are sad to announce that Chris Ogerly passed away the evening of May 3, 2023. Chris was born on May 18, 1960, in Littlefield, Texas. He lived there until he was accepted to Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas.
Upon completion of the Radiology Technology program at South Plains College, Chris moved to Austin, Texas. He began his career as a "trauma tech" at Brackenridge Hospital where he worked for over 25 years. He did take a few years to travel and work in New York City and Dallas, before returning to Austin.
Friday movie nights at Chris's house became a tradition that was enjoyed by friends and family for many, many years. His creativity, generosity, eye for fashion and love of life were just a few of his many talents.
He is preceded in death by his parents and older sister.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Tom, several cousins and so many friends. He will be missed.
Private services will be held at a later date.
