Chris Walker

James Christopher Walker "Chris", 70, of Aurora, IL passed away on December 10, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 28, 1955, in Hinsdale, IL the son of Alfred and Patricia (Dunn) Walker.

Chris was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend whose life centered around those relationships. Nothing brought him more joy than his family, especially his grandchildren. He was their biggest fan and their partner in crime. A man with a servant's heart, he gave endlessly of himself. He volunteered in many capacities and found much enjoyment in coaching baseball. Throughout his working years, he was a skilled tradesman who took pride in mastering many roles. His dedication and strong work ethic eventually led him into commercial sales where he forged many lasting relationships. Chris loved the simple pleasures in life, family, friends and a round of golf. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Clare-Leone Walker; sons, James (Kristin) Walker and Jack (Stephanie) Walker; grandchildren, Charlie, Ben, Molly, James and Ella; brother, Steven Walker. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Judy Walker.

Funeral rites will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1820 Church Rd. Aurora, IL 60505. A reception will follow.
