Christeen (Jones) Yocum, age 92, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, August 18, 2025. Born Sunday, October 2, 1932, in Pulaski County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Rosevelt & Anna (Petrey) Jones. Christeen was a homemaker and previously worked at various businesses and on the farm. Christeen was always known as a hard worker. She was a member of Shepherd's Chapel Church in Arkansas. Christeen enjoyed reading her Bible.

Christeen leaves behind one daughter, Lena Fay Kidwell of Lancaster, Kentucky; one grandson, Stanley David Wolfe of Bear Valley Springs, California; one great-granddaughter, Ivy Morgan Wolfe of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Jack Jones (Birdie) of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, and Carl Jones (Mary Belle) of Waynesburg, Kentucky; two sisters, Justeen Tucker (Morris) of Crab Orchard and Mary Goens (Russell) of Waynesburg; special sister-in-law, Wanda Jones of Casey County, Kentucky; special caregiver, Norma Shackleford of Danville, Kentucky; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

Christeen was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Brenda Jean Dowell; one toddler son, Jerry Lee Dowell; one granddaughter, Keisha Fay Kidwell; five brothers, Melvin Jones, Norman Edward Jones (infant), Marvin Jones, Owen V. Jones, and William Jones; and three sisters, Lorine Dowell, Freida Jones, and Irene Jones (infant).

Following Christeen's wishes, Cremation Rites will be honored and no services will be held. Private Burial will be in Mount Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Waynesburg.
