Christeena Lynn Schwab

In loving memory of Christeena Lynn Schwab, born on May 3, 1999, in Show Low, Arizona, whose light shone brightly until her untimely passing on November 29, 2024. Christeena, a cherished daughter, granddaughter, and beloved sister, will be remembered for her loving spirit, unwavering kindness, and gentle whimsy. Her compassion extended far beyond her years, encapsulated in sweet moments spent nurturing nature, cultivating her garden, and sharing laughter, love, and creativity with those around her.

An artist at heart, Christeena expressed herself through bold and colorful makeup looks and dyeing her hair, writing, painting, drawing, cooking, crocheting and playing Dungeons & Dragons with close friends; finding magic in the everyday and enveloping her loved ones in the warmth of her passions. As a devoted barista, she brightened the days of many, serving not just coffee, but also a smile that could lift the heaviest of hearts. She was a connoisseur of worlds woven with whimsy, finding joy in the pages of her favorite tales like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Harry Potter. In those realms, she thrived-drawing strength and inspiration from fantasy as she crafted her own adventures in life.

Christeena's heart was a deep well of empathy, beautifully illustrated by her heartfelt dedication to the smallest of creatures, as seen in a memorable midnight escapade with her sister. Together, they lovingly buried a stray cat they named "Bagel," a testament to Christeena's boundless compassion and caring nature. She was truly someone who could brighten the gloomiest of days and forge connections with both people and animals alike.

In her loving embrace were her devoted parents, Jason and Deena Schwab, her brothers Korey and TJ, her sister, Kathleen, and her fiancé, David Ikerd who will deeply miss her playful spirit and the joyous moments shared together. Although she has departed from this world, the memories of Christeena's sweet soul will continue to thrive in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel on January 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM. As we gather to honor Christeena's legacy, let us remember the joy she brought, the love she shared, and the beauty she found in every moment.
