Christian Clowes Obituary
Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Christian David (Jones) Clowes, AKA "Noodle", 33 of Hebron, MD passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 23, 2025 from a severe asthma attack.
Christian was born on Valentine's Day February 14, 1992. He was born on the right day as his love for people and his huge heart shone through to all every day. It didn't matter if you were family, friend, stranger, worked under him, a boss, or a customer, Christian treated everyone with love and respect and had a heart for children.
Christian had a zest for life. He loved music, art, the Steelers, skateboarding, animals, being outdoors with his dogs, kayaking, fishing, or just sitting at the fire. His true passions were people and cooking. He loved everyone. You never knew what Christian would be cooking but you knew it would be made with love.
Christian struggled his whole life with asthma but that didn't stop him from enjoying life. Growing up, when not on trips with his family, he played baseball, basketball, soccer for Salisbury Strikers, football for Salisbury Middle School Eagles and Parkside High School Rams where he graduated. He was also a lifelong scouting friend and part of the Community of Joy youth group. Christian loved being a jock but he also attended the Magnet Program and participated in Destination Imagination, attending Globals multiple times showing his intelligence, team building, and problem-solving skills.
If you knew Christian, he probably made you smile with a hug, or a joke, or with a smile of his own and a twist of his mustache. No matter who you were, to Christian, you were family. Christian was a big teddy bear with a loving, kind, and gentle soul.
Christian enjoyed trips to the beach, Florida, Pennsylvania, and other places with his cousins and there was probably some mischief going on but there just wasn't enough of these in his short life. He also enjoyed many adventures with COJ youth and there are many stories there too.
Christian is survived by his mom, Belinda White; his grandma, Sallie Sinkovitz; aunts and uncles, Jim, Paul, Nancy, Scott, and BJ; and his cousins, Scottie "Pancake", Briana "Bube", Jordan "Jordy", Jameson "Jamie", and Bryce "Chicken Butt" (a name given to him by Christian); as well as extended family and friends. His smile, hugs, kind words, jokes, uplifting spirit, and "I love you" will be missed by many including his four legged faithful companion Brodie.
Christian was currently employed by Ocean Pines Public House where, if you were blessed enough, he made you one of his dishes. If Chef Christian prepared a meal for you, you knew you were extra loved. He loved experimenting and trying new dishes. Some coworkers will tell you definite experimenting went on. He aspired to opening his own restaurant someday.
Christian's zest for life showed every day to friends, strangers, coworkers, bosses, family, and animals. He was quick with a smile and a joke to brighten your day along with love and respect to remind you you were important to him.
While not always on time, when he got there, he enjoyed the time with you and wanted you to enjoy the time too. It could be at the gym, the skate park, youth group, family holidays, or work. Christian strived to show love and touched many lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community of Joy Church, Salisbury Zoo, or Wicomico Humane Society in his name.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Community of Joy Church, 302 South Blvd, Salisbury, MD 21801. Family and friends may visit from 1:30 PM - 2 PM.
