As you know I have know Chris since 3rd grade we were inseparable in elementary school. We spent everyday of our summers and after school playing sports and hanging out (I never left your house). We stayed friends through high school between school and outdoor adventures. We lost touch after high school and it was one of my biggest regrets I’ve never met anyone like Chris he was one of the best people Ive met in my life. He was a great person and he will be missed. My sympathies are with your family in your time of need.

Messers---I
just heard about Chris' death this morning from my principal. I had him as a 2nd grader at Crooked Lake. When I first heard I pictured his smile. I dug out a yearbook and there that smile was! And I see that same smile in his adult picture! Treasure your memories of this very special young man. I
am praying for you all, for strength in the days, weeks, months to come!

Michelle & family -
My heart actually hurts for you. I never met Christian but was astonished at how much he resembles his mother - it takes my breath away to look at his beautiful face and remember Michelle when she was young.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Bruce, Michelle, and Megan,
I am so sorry for your loss! I still picture both Chris and Megan as children since I last saw them about 13 years ago at choir rehearsals and concerts for Fridley High School. Time sure flies, doesn't it?
I know that there is really nothing that can be said that will make any of this any easier, but just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May God comfort you as only He can!

Mr.Messer and family~
Although I didn't know your son/brother I am so sad to hear of your loss!
I am a former student of Mr.Messer's (graduated 1990), and he always did a wonderful job with all of us, which I am sure carried over into his parenting of his children, if that makes any sense!?
My thoughts and prayers are with you ~Jennifer(Alexander)Foxhoven~
God bless your family during this time.

We are so sorry for your loss , we don't think that there is anything more difficult than the lost of a child, but your faith will help you through this difficult time. You will be in our prayers.

Bruce, Michelle, Megan, & extended family,
I had received an e-mail about Chris' condition in early December and have been praying for him. Today I was reading the paper online, and decided to glance at the pages of passings. It made me real nervous almost like I knew before I knew, and then there was his picture. I shouted "No" and turned my computer off. I wish it were that easy to erase your grief.
But then I was flooded with memories of that cherubic face with straight across bangs, glasses, and braces singing in the middle school Joyful Noiz choir. (When he probably would've rather been doing anything else : ), and I came back to this page. What an awesome person, from such a beautiful family.
I am so sorry for the pain you have suffered through the last couple of years. I can't even pretend to imagine how difficult this has been for all of you. Please know he'll never be forgotten, he'll forever be in my memories. Still blushing every time I say his name :)
We always closed our choir sessions with this song and I think of it now for Chris:
May you run and not be weary,
May your heart be filled with song,
May the love of God continue,
To give you hope & keep you strong,
And may you run and not be weary,
May your heart be filled with joy,
And may the road you travel
Always lead you Home.
Payers & Blessings to you,
Love,
Maria Savini
