Christiane E. Samide (née Duffy), age 67, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on February 3, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with illness.

Born on March 24, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, Chris was the daughter of the late Edward Duffy and Winhilde Ott. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and wife whose love for her family was evident in all she did.

Chris leaves behind her loving children, Jennifer (Nicholas) Roffey and Joseph (Lauren) Samide. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Cameron, Zachary, and Gwendolyn, who brought her great joy. She is also survived by her sister, Danielle (Mike), and brother, Edward Duffy, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her soulmate, Joseph Samide.

Family was Chris greatest treasure, whom she loved deeply. She will be fondly remembered for her warmth, humor, and the love she generously shared. Her memory will live on in the hearts of many.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
