Christina "Tina" Busbee Obituary
Christina "Tina" Lydick Busbee entered into rest in the hospital on the morning of May 17, comforted by her daughter and granddaughter. She was 74 years old.
Tina was born on January 14, 1950, in Madigan General Hospital, Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Washington. She was the third child of Alfreda Isabel Reeves and Fred Hayes Lydick.
Tina worked in Public Safety, Police, Fire and EMS for over 20 years, during which she made lasting relationships she cherished forever.
Tina became a mother to her first child and daughter, Kathy, in 1967, and to her son, George in 1970.. She married her husband Jimmy in 1979, where she earned another title, as stepmother to Jimmy's son Tracy.
Although she loved her children and husband with all her heart, Tina reserved a portion of it forever for her sister Bonnie. Tina cared for Bonnie until her passing in 2010, she was her best friend and confidant always.
In Tina's spare time, she loved to go on cruises with her friends, read books, do crosswords, and care for her many cats. She also loved to shop. Some of the most fun she had was playing board games with her family, especially every New Year's Eve until the ball dropped.
Tina was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy; her sons, Tracy & George; her grandchildren, Tori, George, Alton, Catlin, Coral, Hannah, and Hunter; and by a brother, Fred Still Lydick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy (2023); her sister Bonnie (2010); and her brother Terry (2006).
