Christina "Tina" Cott

June 24, 1965 – May 10, 2025

Christina "Tina" Cott, 59, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on May 10, 2025, surrounded by people who loved her deeply.

Tina was born on June 24, 1965, in Topeka to John Henry Cott and Twila Yvonne Phillips. She was preceded in death by her father, and her brothers, John Cott Jr. and Randall Cott. She is survived by her mother, Twila Yvonne Myers; her son, Jimmy Lininger; her beloved granddaughter, Belle Lininger; her brothers, Timothy Cott, Jeff Cott and Chris Myers; and her sisters, Cindia Cott, Cheri Cott, Tasha Myers, and Melissa Myers.

Tina spent her life working as a self-employed house cleaner, a career she pursued with dedication and pride. She took great joy in caring for the many beautiful homes entrusted to her, and through her work, she built friendships with a wide array of people.

Her life changed profoundly in February of 2017 with the birth of her granddaughter, Belle. Becoming "Nana" was Tina's greatest joy and most cherished role. She had a magical ability to connect with Belle, stepping into a child's world with wonder and creativity. From sandbox adventures and make-believe Barbie stories to hikes, trampoline jumping, and countless art projects, Tina created a world of imagination and adventure for her granddaughter. Those eight years as Nana revealed the very best of Tina-her heart, her spirit, and her devotion.

Tina leaves behind a large void in our lives. Her presence was deeply felt, and her absence will be as well. Though she may not have realized it, she played a vital role in the lives of everyone around her. She was a daughter, sister, mother, Nana, and friend--shaping the lives she touched.

She will be missed more than words can express and remembered always with love.
