Christina Lea Hays was born on December 9, 1954. Sadly, at the age of 70, Chrisitna, of Ferndale, Washington, passed away on October 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born to Fredera Shaw and the late Armand Brunhoeber Sr., Christina grew up in Southern California and graduated from Royal High School in Simi Valley, Class of 1972. She later married the love of her life, Donald Hays, on December 29, 1983, in Bellflower, California-a partnership defined by deep devotion and enduring friendship.

Christina spent much of her professional life serving her community. She worked at US Bank in Ferndale and in Customer Service at Homax, where she was known for her kindness, patience, and ability to brighten the day of anyone she met.

Outside of work, Christina embraced the joys of life. She loved gardening, often nurturing her plants with the same care she gave to the people around her. She found fun with slot machines, delight in photography, and her greatest happiness in being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world.

Christina is survived by her loving husband, Donald; her sons, James and Adam; her daughters, Melissa and Renee; her mother, Fredera Shaw; and her brothers, Armand Jr. (Ingrid) and Kevin (Emma). She is preceded in death by her father, Armand Brunhoeber Sr., and her stepfather, Donald Shaw.

Christina will be remembered as loving, caring, smart, and unwaveringly devoted to her family. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched many lives, and her memory will remain a cherished blessing.

Service details will be shared with family and friends.
