Christina W. Wojnarowski, Family and Friends knew her as "Ina", age 93 of Media, PA since 1962 passed away in the early morning hours on Friday December 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving son's. Born March 12, 1931 in Kirkcaldy Fife, Scotland to the late Sandy & Christina (Wilson) Nelson. Christina was the youngest of three sisters along with Isabel Ballinger and Margaret Chrichton, who preceded her in death.
As a young girl she worked with her father, a produce salesman, selling fruits and vegetables from a cart drawn by their trusty Clydesdale horse named Charley. Later Christina worked at a linen factory in Scotland. Her dad always said Christina carried the weight of the world on her shoulders and could've been a philosopher with all of her theories, questions and concerns in life.
She was a true animal lover who over the years had several dogs and cats and wanted to rescue any lost critter she came upon. Christina was a passionate gardener, who if ever asked if she was granted one wish, said she would wish for a beautiful garden.
In addition to her parents and sisters, Christina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jan Jozef Wojnarowski who died in 1998. She is survived by two devoted sons, Stefen and Alexander Wojnarowski; also loving extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend Christina's visitation, Friday January 3, 2025, from 10 to 11 am at the Cavanagh Patterson Family Funeral home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave., Media. Her Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11 am. Interment will be private.
