Christine Marie Davis, age 56, of Milford, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Born on March 9, 1969, in Garden City, Michigan, Christine was the beloved daughter of Eugene and Linda. She grew up in Westland, where she graduated from Franklin High School before going on to attend Michigan State University. While earning her Bachelor of Science degree, Christine met the love of her life, John Davis, through a mutual friend in the dorms. Their connection was instant and deep, and one sweet gesture-Christine baking John a cake for his 21st birthday-became a cherished memory that marked the beginning of their life together.
Christine and John were married on June 12, 1993, embarking on a beautiful journey of love, partnership, and unwavering devotion that spanned 32 years. Together, they raised three children-Zach, Kaylee, and Brooke-who were the center of Christine's world. As a mother, Christine was nurturing, supportive, and endlessly devoted. She was a Girl Scout leader, a proud cheer and football mom, and a constant source of encouragement and strength to her children.
Over the years, Christine touched many lives through her work and volunteerism. She worked for a landscape design company, served many years in the children's ministry at her church, and spent the majority of her career as an administrative assistant for the Huron Valley School District, where she worked to support special needs students. Her compassion, patience, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Christine had a creative spirit and a giving heart. She loved crafting-especially making cards and personalized gifts for loved ones using her Cricut machine. Hobby Lobby was one of her favorite places to find inspiration for her next project. She enjoyed live music, whether it was watching her family perform at a cozy coffee shop or seeing her favorite country artists in a packed stadium. She also had a deep love for travel and found great joy in exploring the beauty of nature alongside John, her faithful travel companion.
Faith and family were the cornerstones of Christine's life. She lived with grace, courage, and a quiet strength that inspired all who knew her. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to those she held dear.
Christine is survived by her loving husband, John Davis; her children, Zach Davis, Kaylee Davis, and Brooke (Sam) Hewitt; her parents, Eugene Szopa, and Linda & Dale Fox; dearest sister of Andy Szopa, and Karen Chapman; loving owner of Ellie. Christine is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
