Funeral service for Christine Townsend Lanehart of Lettsworth will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Little Zion Baptist Church in Innis. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Christine T. Lanehart, age 90, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
Those left to cherish her memory are her nephew, Gregory Parker; sister-in-law, Irma Johnson; she was a maternal figure to, Patrick Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Lanehart; son, Frank Polk, Jr.; parents, Clarence & Olivia Johnson Townsend; sisters, Lurline T. Platt and Eva Mae Malone; brother, J.B. Johnson.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Little Zion Baptist Church in Innis.
