MATHEWS, Christine Dawn- Age 69, of Brighton, died December 25, 2023. Arrangements are being provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life in the spring at Lost Lake (this was her favorite fishing spot). Those desiring may make contributions to Mid-Michigan Hospice, Flint. Christine was born July 9, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of William and Marlene (Morrison) Frazer. Christine spent the majority of her life in Brighton, Michigan where her heart remained until the day she died. Christine spent about10 blissful years with her one true love Fred Mathews. She later married Fred on July 13, 2019 in Gladwin, MI. Christine graduated from Brighton High School Class of 1972. Christine had many hobbies including frequently stopping at garage sales, perusing Goodwill, crocheting (mostly pot holders and blankets), needle point and all documentaries and TV shows related to investigation and mystery. Surviving are: her husband, Fred; daughter, Tanya K. Coeur; grandchildren, Forrest, Brittany, Damion; great-grandchildren, Micha and Dawson; brothers, Bill T. Frazer, Richard D. Frazer. She was preceded in death by her parents and youngest brother Jim Frazer. Online condolences may be posted on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
