Christine Petz

Christine Petz passed peacefully following a long journey with dementia on October 2, 2025 at The Courtyard Memory Care Facility in Sterling Heights at the age of 78. Christine was born on May 14, 1947 in Detroit to Joseph and Genevieve Lukomski. She is the beloved wife of 57 years of Russell. Loving mother of Dave (Anne) Petz, Greg (Donna) Petz, and Eric (Meggan) Petz. Very proud grandma of Brooke, Rachel, Brennan, Austin, Nolan, Abby, Riley, Isabel, and Brady. Dearest sister of Joseph Lukomski. Visitation Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 2-8 PM with a 7 PM Evening Service at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (n. of 22 Mile Rd.), Shelby Twp. Instate Monday, October 13, 2025 beginning at 9:30 and continuing until the 10 AM Funeral Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church 48115 Schoenherr Rd. (n. of 21 Mile Rd.), Shelby Twp.
