Mrs. Christine Teal Davis, age 85, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at her home. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Monday, October 23, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Mike Parnell and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Teal cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davis was born October 27, 1937 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Jon Carlos and Margie Rogers Teal. Christine loved to work in her yards, clean her house, and raising animals. She never met a stranger and spending time with her family and grandchildren was her favorite way to spend time.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Turner Davis; brother, Jon Carlos ‘Son” Teal; and sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Johnson, Daisy Lewis, Mildred “Punk” Williams, and Ruth Lewis; sister-in-law, Mary Glynn Davis Johns.
Survivors include her daughter, Kitty (Bill) Baker and of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Liza Davis (Michael, Jr.) Hudson , Joshua (Lisa) Baker, Jennifer Baker ( Randy Melton); great grandchildren, Kayla (Jessie) Hancock, Jordan Hoffman, A.J. Driggers, Dalton Hudson, Michaela Hudson, Averi Hudson; great-great grandchild, Brantley Baker; sister-in-law, Dorothy Jean "Moss" Teal; special niece, Sandra Gainey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Crescent Hospice and nurses; Jackie, Sydney, and McKinnis for their loving and compassionate care.
