Christine Winifred Tiernan passed away at her home Friday, September 19th , 2025, in the company of her beloved Great Pyrenees, Osa.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly, Michael and Ericka and was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Christine was born in 1942, and originated from Farmington, Michigan and lived in Detroit. She moved to Brohman, Michigan in 1969 and later relocated permanently to White Cloud. She attended Ferris State College and received an associate's degree as a Medical Assistant.

While working for Newaygo County Mental Health Services, she pursued a bachelor's degree in public administration from Grand Valley State College. She worked for the Commission on Aging and as an administrator to the circuit courts. She was passionate about public service and served with many groups in White Cloud; including the White Cloud City Council, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Sewer Board, and the White Cloud Community Library.

She loved big dogs, porches, cooking, quilting and the rural community she resided in.

A private burial and graveside service will be held on Saturday, 11am at the White Cloud Cemetery.
