Mr. Christopher O. Aroh, age 84, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away quietly on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Shipley Living Senior Living, Wilmington, Delaware.
Born to the family of Late Chief John Chikendu Aroh. father and Late Mrs. Celina Aroh, mother at their home town of Abatete, in the Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. Mr. Aroh had previously attended the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Wilmington. Prior to retirement, he was an accountant for over 25 years with J.P. Morgan Chase. He was a Peaceful, Friendly, Gentle, and kind fellow with few associates. He was always willing to help neighbors as well as close relatives in need, and made donations to needy organizations in the USA. Consequently, he earned citizenship certificates with numerous counts
He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Mary Lee McDuffie who passed in 2009. He is survived by his son, Andrew Orakwue Aroh; his grandson, Chinedu Chimelu Aroh; his granddaughter, Chinwe Chinenye Aroh; his friend, Samson Osiene and family; his companion's family, Patricia A. Richardson, Linda McDuffie, Leon McDuffie, Tyrone McDuffie and Earl Jeter; his granddaughter, Latoya McDuffie and a large family of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 22,2024 at 2:00 p.m. Guests are asked to gather at the office of Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE 19805. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Christopher's honor to Shipley Living, 2723 Shipley Road, Wilmington, DE 19810.
