Christopher John Baumgartner II of Frankenmuth, was peacefully called to the Lord in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones on November 23rd, 2023 after a short, yet courageous battle with cancer. Christopher was born on September 11th, 1989 to Christopher Baumgartner Sr., and Carmen (Daniel) Dilts. Christopher was a 2007 graduate of Bridgeport High School. There after he found his love for transmission work. Late nights fixing transmissions out of a garage with his life long friend, Allen Amy, turned into co-owning Tri-City Transmission business together. Beating all odds and building a legacy with Al, is what Christopher was most proud of. He had a love for hunting, motorcycles, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, and ATVs. If it had two wheels he was only going to ride on one- full throttle at all times. Most importantly, he loved being a father and creating memories with his children that will last forever. Christopher was known for his sense of humor even if it made you laugh and cry in the same sentence.
He is survived by children Emmett and Enzo Baumgartner; parents Christopher Baumgartner Sr., Carmen (Daniel) Dilts; grand parents: Judith (Robert) Honeman; sister: Bambi (Troy Cruz Jr) Baumgartner; step-brothers Daniel (Ashley) Dilts and Ronald Curtis; step-sisters Jennifer (Brandon) Williams and Kristine Dilts; bonus daughters Scarlet and Laila Smith; companion Rosalinda; mother to his children Jennifer Schmidt; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special cousins. He shared a close bond with his cousin Richard Reppuhn III. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Frank.
He was preceded in death by grandparents: Harvey Hurney, George and Genevieve (Bryce) Baumgartner, Robert and Catherine Honeman, Lester and Alice Meinecke; uncles: Derek Honeman, James Hurney, Harry Varney, Michael Baumgartner Sr.; Aunt Gayle Baumgartner. We are heartbroken that he is no longer here with us but we find comfort in knowing he lived his life to the fullest and took chances no matter the outcome. If you knew Christopher, he would tell us all he's feeling 'way mo betta.'
