CHRISTOPHER LEE BELL, SR. Christopher Lee Bell, Sr., 33, of Crab Orchard, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 5, 2010 following injuries sustained at Performance Coal’s Upper Big Branch Mine at Montcoal, WV. Born September 14, 1976 at Dayton, Ohio; he is the son of Christopher L. Bell and Kathy Darlene Acord Bell. Christopher loved to draw, and loved art and detailing vehicles, but most of all he loved to spend time with his wife and children. He loved to play with his children. Christopher was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cleat and Helen Acord; paternal grandparents, John J. and Elizabeth Bell; an uncle, Gary Acord; an aunt, Sue B. Johnson; two cousins, Louis Shieler and Bobbi Lynn Jordan; and grandfather-in-law, Lando Cox, Sr. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Angela Grimmett Bell; two daughters, Alexis Bell and Meadow Bell; two sons, Christopher Lee Bell, Jr. and Skylar Bell all of Crab Orchard; mother and father, Christopher L. Bell and Kathy Bell of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Jason Bell and wife, Renee of Huber Heights, OH; sister, Kristal Cook of Sidney, OH, parents-in-law, Lando and Patricia Cox of Lester; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph Grimmett and wife, Renee of Crab Orchard; Joseph Blake and wife, Mary of Crab Orchard, Scott Chuyka and wife, Rebekah of Oak Hill, grandfather-in-law, Joseph Minter of Lester; grandmother-in-law, Lavale Cox of MacArthur; many nieces and nephews; extended family and a host of friends. Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Beckley with Pastor Jesse Farley officiating. Christopher will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may gather with the family from 12 o’clock noon until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. My family comes from a long line of coal miners.GreatGrandfather's,Grandfather's,
Father's,Uncle's,Nephew's,Cousin's and Friend's. Jo Marcum was like a Uncle to me so my family knows some of your pain. May God comfort and strengthen your family in the days to come. And may you find comfort and peace in your warm and loving memories of your loved one.
