Christopher Edward Bray, 64 years, a life long resident of Hollywood, Florida passed away on January 11,2026. He was a cherished son, brother and friend and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his parents Norman Bray and Nancy Ralph Bray and sisters Nancy Bray, Barbara Bray Goldkamp ( Richard )and Jeanne Bray as well as brothers James Bray (Angela) and Daniel Bray. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and 11 grandnieces and grandnephews.
Chris graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale and then from Florida A&M University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies. He went on to work at Stratus ( an Engineering and Architectural firm) for the last 34 years. Chris was a Project Manager for many buildings in South Florida and took pride in every design and build.
Chris loved family, friends, and water activities. He enjoyed music and had a special love for all things Jimmy Buffet. He loved to travel and had an Irish Wit. Many good times were spent in the beautiful Florida Keys. Chris had a tight knit group of friends whom he loved to spend time with.
The family invites all those who knew and loved Chris to attend as we celebrate his life. Friends will be received at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in the Mausoleum Chapel 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL. Burial will follow after the Funeral Mass.
In his honor and because of his love of the Florida Keys and Diving, memorials are suggested to Icare - Coral reef restoration and education, based in the Florida Keys.
