Christopher Andrew Cary, 40, of Selkirk NY, passed away on September 12, 2025. Born in Albany, NY, on August 23, 1985. He was the son of Charles R. Cary and the late Nancy A. (Williams) Cary.

Christopher is survived by his father, Charles R. Cary of Hannacroix; brothers, David Cary and Anthony (Nadine) Cary; nephews, Kyle, Joshua, Matthew, Nathan Cary; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Christopher worked at a variety of jobs including cooking, warehouse, and laboring. He had a passion for cooking though. It was one of his favorite past times. He was also a lover of the outdoors. He would often enjoy rides to the Adirondacks or the Catskills to fishing, hiking, or sightseeing. Christopher also was an avid dog lover. He always had his dog, Milly, with him and she was a huge part of his life and our family.

If you were lucky enough to know Christopher, you knew that he was a free spirit and often didn't have a care in the world. He lived his life the way he wanted to and enjoyed it as much as he possibly could in the short time he was here. He will be greatly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday September 24, 2025, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm at the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Ave, Ravena, NY 12143.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
