Christopher Q. (Chris) Conrad was born June 20, 1940 to John Kenneth and Marguerite Josephine (Roberts) Conrad. He passed away April 13, 2022.
Chris attended school in Wray, graduating in 1958. Days before the first term he threw his stereo and a few clothes in a pickup enrolled into Colorado A & M now CSU. Thinking maybe that wasn't what he wanted he left and attended U.S. Trade School in Kansas City, Missouri. While in Kansas City, a trip to Leoti, Kansas with a friend sounded like a good idea. There he met JaLene Fisher and after two years they were married on December 2, 1961.
Chris loved his family and restoring and repairing cars. Farming and ranching became his choice for his life work.
Chris is survived by his wife, JaLene and children, Masten, Shaw, Keenan & Camilla; granddaughter, Sophia Conrad, brother, Joseph R. Conrad and wife, Madeline.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wray United Methodist Church in Wray, Colorado with Pastor Ben Wentworth officiating.
Interment will be held in the Grandview Cemetery in Wray, Colorado. Memorials may be made to the Wray Volunteer Fire Department or the Wray United Methodist Church.
