Christopher Michael Dorsey, 28, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
Born April 3, 1996, he was the son of Michael and Theresa Dorsey of Salisbury. He and his wife, Krista (Josenhans), were recently married on February 24, 2025, after proposing to her on a recent cruise to the Caribbean.
Chris was a 2014 graduate of Parkside High School
He enjoyed the outdoors and had an abundant knowledge of fish and their habitats along with various types of reptiles. He also enjoyed kayaking, fishing, motorcycling and the great outdoors. He also had a love for Volkswagens & local car clubs/meets.
Chris was a beautiful soul on earth. He was kind, caring, fun-loving and adventurous.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his sister, Brittany (Matt); brother, Jordan; grandparents, George & Janet Dorsey and Patricia Williams (Ralph); nephews, Shawn, Owen and Nathan; in-laws, Kevin and Robin Josenhans; and his best friend, Austin Pope. He is also survived by his puppies, Hawk and Fenway along with five pet ball pythons. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Claude Townsend; great-grandmother, Margaret Sellers; great-grandmother, Pauline Dorsey; great-grandfather Linwood McDaniel Sr; and brother-in-law, Micah Josenhans.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 19, 2025, 12PM-4PM at Redmens Lodge, #149, Tony Tank Tribe Pavilion located at 103 Clyde Avenue, Fruitland, MD.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of Wicomico County, 5130 Citation Dr., Salisbury, MD 21804 or via the "Donate" tab on their website www.wicomicohumane.org.
