Christopher Elmerick Obituary
Chris retired from Sikorsky as a helicopter technician and previously worked at Northrop Grumman.
Chris was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan. He also enjoyed coaching whatever sports his children Jesse and Jamie were playing. He also loved fishing and boating. Chris was one of a kind and would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He loved to regale others with all of his stories. His family joked that he had nine lives, and he always told his doctors that he will "pull it off" when doctors wrote him off. God Bless you Chris.
Chris leaves behind a son Jesse M Elmerick (Bianca Barnes) (Vero Beach, FL); Grandson Jameson Elmerick; Brother Ralph H Elmerick (Regina) (Louisville, OH); Sisters Joyce Allen(Malvern, OH), Sandy Armstrong (Dennis)(Tampa, FL) and Kathy Geary (Steve) (Casselberry, FL); Nieces Kelli Elmerick Law (Todd) (Canton, OH), Leslie Armstrong Candes (Michael) (Longmont, CO), Jennifer Armstrong (Tampa, FL), Shelly Armstrong Potsko (Adam) (Thornton, CO), and Lindsay Davis (Ryan)(Seminole, FL); Nephews Shawn Allen (Malvern, OH) and Christopher Elmerick (Stephanie) (Berlin, Germany), great nieces and nephews, as well close friends: Dan O'Doherty, Renee Strickmaker Elmerick Phillippe, Blaise Barnes, and Gracie Nelson.
Chris was preceded in death by daughter Jamie Lynn Elmerick; brother Mark Elmerick; sister Patty Lynn Elmerick; mother Donna Mae Wackerly Elmerick Strausser; fatherSylvan G Elmerick; niece Stephanie Elmerick Dennison; and great nephew Eric Jones.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date so please leave an email so we can provide you with the information.
