Christopher Evans, age 54, of Paris, France, formerly of Prospect, CT, passed away on March 1, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. Christopher was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and Cooper Union in New York City. After working for Jak Design in New York, he moved to Paris in 1993 and established Evans and Wong Design with his partner Victor Wong. He continued a career in the arts with graphic design and illustration. Chris' loving and enduring smile will bring comfort to those who knew him.
In addition to his husband, Frédéric (Roellinger) Evans, he leaves his parents, Brian and Mary Evans of Prospect, his brother Darrin Evans and his wife Melissa of Wolcott, and his sister Hallie McLellan and her husband Brint of Southington. He also leaves a nephew Michael, nieces Katie and Allison, and many cousins, family members, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 - 4pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Prospect Memorial / The Palmerie Family Funeral Home, 122 Waterbury Rd. in Prospect. A Time of Remembrance service will begin at 3:15pm, where friends and family will be invited to share memories and stories of Christopher. You are invited to share a fond memory, photo and words of comfort for his family on his Tribute Wall on this website.
