A memorial service will be held for Christopher Virgil Flores at 10:00 am on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church.
Mr. Flores, 67, passed away on August 11, 2025, in Artesia, NM. He was born on September 3, 1957, to Eutimio and Justina (Chavez) Flores in Roswell, NM.
Chris was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He married his high school sweetheart, Patricia and together they shared more than 50 years of love, laughter and devotion.
He enjoyed a long and successful career in the oil and gas industry where his hard work, dedication and integrity earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Outside of work he loved traveling with his wife and creating special memories with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed biking, hiking, and found great joy in being outdoors - especially in the mountains where he felt most at peace.
He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his witty sense of humor and the example he lived through a life well lived.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Patricia Flores; his children, Nicole (Israel) Valencia, Andrea (Jared) Arrey, and Cody (Tiffany) Flores; and his grandchildren, Robby, Tayla, Ethan, Hope, Cambrie, Aubrielle, Brylie, Sophia, Christian.
